Yes, and we hope you keep them. Your Closer Clinic doctor focuses on the condition you came to us for. If you’d like, we can send your visit notes to your regular doctor so they stay in the loop.

Each of our practices focuses on one condition people live with for years, such as migraine or gout. When you book, you’ll see what each doctor treats. If what you’re dealing with isn’t something they treat, you’ll know before your visit.

Emergencies, problems that need a hands-on exam or a procedure, and care for children. Our doctors also don’t prescribe controlled substances.

Your doctor will tell you plainly if something needs an in-person exam, imaging, or a specialist, and help you get there. We send your history along so the next doctor doesn’t start from scratch.

This service is not for emergencies. If you think you’re having a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

We take health insurance you get through work or buy on your own. When you book, we check your plan and show you your copay.

It depends on your plan. You’ll pay a copay, and we show you that amount before you book. If you haven’t met your deductible yet, you may owe more after your insurance processes the visit.

No. We only work with insurance, so you’ll need a health plan to book.

Yes, if your doctor decides a medication is right for you. Prescriptions go to the pharmacy you choose.

Message us when you’re running low, before you run out, and your doctor will review it. If a medication isn’t lasting as long as it should, tell us. That’s worth a conversation, and your doctor will go over your options with you.

No. Our doctors don’t prescribe controlled substances.

Your doctor orders it and you go to a lab near you. Your results come back to your doctor, who goes over them with you.

Yes. Your doctor sets up the referral and sends your history along. We keep track of it so it doesn’t get lost.

During your video visit, AI in your medical record summarizes your conversation with your doctor. You can read that summary in the app afterward. You don’t have to take notes while you talk or worry about forgetting what your doctor said.

Yes. AI works within your medical record, and your health information stays protected under HIPAA.
